About

code{her} was designed and built in Monument, CO — a small town at the base of the Rockies where the altitude is high and the Wi-Fi is acceptable.

The brand started with a problem. Women in tech have been writing the code, shipping the features, and surviving the standups for decades. And yet somehow, the only coding shirts available looked like they were designed by someone who has never met a woman... or a semicolon. We wanted dark mode. Fitted cuts. Jokes that land without an explanation. Designs that say exactly what they mean to exactly the people who get it. iykyk.

The founder stepped back from a career in web development to become a full-time caregiver for her daughter, who has Down Syndrome. Somewhere in the middle of that life pivot, the idea for code{her} wouldn't leave her alone. Turns out you can take the developer out of the IDE, but you can't take the IDE out of the developer.

code{her} is for every woman who has ever been the only one in the room, googled something for the fifth time, or committed with the message "idk." You build things that mattered. You deserve a shirt that knows that.
